Terms and Conditions

Warranty:

Elements of Green does not warranty products.  The sole warranty associated with a product is the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the product, if any.  In no event shall Elements of Green be liable for any consequential damages, incidental damages or loss of use, property or profits or any other damages of whatever kind or however arising.

Elements of Green will assist you working with the manufacturer to resolve any problem that may arise with any product that we sell.

Payment:

Elements of Green will accept cash, check, VISA, MasterCard and Discover in payment of purchases.  All item sales must be paid in full prior to pickup or prior to order.  All project sales such as flooring with installation, tile or a counter top will require a down payment of 70% with the balance due upon completion of the installation.  Invoices must be paid in full no later than 15 day’s after project completion.

• Invoices not paid in full within 15 days after install will be subject to a 1.5% late fee based on the total amount due.  1.5% will be added to the outstanding bill every 30 days after the initial late fee is assessed.

• Invoices not paid within 90 days will be subject to collections and a lien may be placed against the property.

• Returned checks will be subject to a $50 processing fee.

Returns:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within the first 30 days of receipt and the items are in resalable condition – original carton, packaging and condition - they may be returned less the shipping and handling charges incurred. Contact Elements of Green immediately to arrange the return.

Custom fabricated items: such as recycled paper or glass counter tops, sheet Marmoleum, wool carpet and paint are not returnable.  If there is a question about the material or paint color, discrepancies must be resolved prior to application on walls, ceiling, etc.

Non-Stocked Items: Cork or bamboo floor, Marmoleum sheet goods and tile and also including recycled paper counter tops for self fabrication will be subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned within 30 days of receipt provided items are in resalable condition – original carton, packaging and condition. We are unable to refund original shipping charges. Customer is also responsible for shipping charges back to the manufacturer on items, but we – Elements of Green – will not charge a restocking fee.

Stocked Items: American Clay, sealers and cleaners may be returned within 30 days of receipt provided the items are in new, resalable condition – original carton, packaging and condition.

Shipping:

Items sold by Elements of Green may be delivered directly to you from the manufacturer, but additional delivery to residential address charges may apply. Often items are shipped via freight carrier due to the heavy nature of the item.  We do our best to estimate shipping charges accurately at time of proposal, but with fuel prices fluctuating as they are freight charges are changing daily.  We reserve the right to obtain a new quote if it has been several days between the date of proposal and the date of invoice.  Delivery times will fluctuate beyond our control. We will make every effort to keep you updated with the most accurate delivery times for your products.

Installation:

Elements of Green, Inc is thrilled to assist you with a contractor for your installation.  If we do, or if you find your own contractor or if you self-install Elements of Green cannot be held responsible for the installation.  It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all instructions are read and understood by their installer.

Elements of Green cannot be held liable for any consequential damages, incidental damages, for loss of use, property or profits or any other damages of whatever kind or however rising as a result of improper installation.
