Travina - Care and Maintenance

Care and Maintenance

Recycled Glass composites match up to real stone in strength, heat resistance, scratch resistance, durability, overall care and maintenance.

Travina products are manufactured so glass infuses the entire surface, making it resistant to staining. Nevertheless, most spills should be wiped up soon by using a soft cloth soap and water. Acids like vinegar, tomatoes, lemon juice and red wine may etch the polymer if not cleaned up right away. Coffee and Tea may also leave stains if allowed to remain on the surface for an extended time.

  • Use a soft, clean cloth for best results, and clean with mild soap and water.
  • Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film and cause streaks.
  • Avoid using cleaning products that have a high acid content, such as lemon, vinegar, boric acid, etc.
  • Don't use scouring powders or creams; these products contain abrasives that may scratch the surface.
  • Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with soap solution and dry with a soft cloth. Use fresh clean rinse water.
